Patch Notes v0.6.6

Noxturris Playtest · published

This Patch is about Resurrection Ritual, Fairy Dust Teleport & Equipment Details

Village & Witch Updates

Door Interactions:
Fixed a bug where the player character would automatically walk away from doors in the village regardless of their state. Now, if a door is closed, the character will simply stand still.

Resurrection Ritual:
The Witch in the village can now resurrect a dead ally for a fee. The cost is 200 gold multiplied by the character's level.

Fairy Dust Teleport:
At the start of a new run, the Witch gives you a pouch of Fairy Dust.
- Using it teleports you to the village near a special portal.
- Entering this portal teleports you back to your last position in the Tower.
- The portal disappears after use.

Fix: If you try to use Fairy Dust while already in the village, a message now warns you that it would be a waste, and the item remains in your inventory instead of being consumed.

Equipment & Combat Details

Visual Emplacements:
In the Equip menu, selecting a body slot now highlights the corresponding location on the character model for clearer visualization.

Elemental Damage Info:
Weapon descriptions now display their Attack Element (Slash, Crush, Puncture, or Cleave). Remember that every living being has specific weaknesses and resistances to these elements!

Skill Menu Fixes:
Fixed a bug where the game incorrectly reported "Not enough MP" even when the character had sufficient mana. Additionally, HP and MP values in the Camp Menu now update correctly after skill usage.

Economy & Progression

Starting Gold Variance:

- New Game:
Starting gold now varies between 130 and 186, adding a bit of randomness to your early game.
- New Run: The minimum gold received at the start of a new run has been increased. It now ranges from 56 to 155 gold.

Ally Survival Rates:
If the leader dies but the party flees or wins, the chance for surviving allies to make it back to the Inn safely has been increased compared to previous versions.
