Combat & Weapons
- Stones Projectile:
The "Throw Stone" skill has been replaced by a new projectile weapon called Stones. This item represents a small bag of stones used for basic attacks.
- Free to use (no MP cost).
- Inexpensive to acquire and commonly found around the Village.
- Defense Stat Fix:
A critical bug was discovered where the Defense stat had no effect on incoming damage, making all attacks "pure" damage. This has been crushed!
- Defense now correctly absorbs a portion of the damage received.
- Equipment stats now function as intended, providing both elemental protection and physical damage reduction.
Combat Mechanics & Balance
- Line of Sight for Sleep:
The Oneye Hound's Sleep skill (Sweet Dreams) now require Line of Sight to target. If the target is obscured, the debuff fails.
- Sleep Adjustment:
The difficulty of the Sleep debuff has been slightly reduced to be less punishing.
Encounter & Exploration
- Encounter Logic Overhaul:
The system forcing a fixed number of encounters per room has been removed.
- Enemy Aggro Reset:
If multiple enemies are chasing you and one triggers a battle, the others will now return to their starting positions and wait until the battle ends, preventing endless chains of battles in a single room.
- Map Movement:
You can now open the map while walking or running. Your character will pause automatically to allow the map to open.
Stability & UI
- Stun Animation Fix:
The stun animation trigger has been removed to prevent crashes when stacking status effects (specifically when Sleep and Stun interact).
- Equipment Emplacements:
Visual highlights for equipment slots on the character model have been added to the Equip menu.
- Elemental Details:
Weapon descriptions now clearly display their Attack Element (Slash, Crush, Puncture, Cleave).
