Version 0.2.1β is now available.
This update completely rebuilds the game's Battle AI.
The previous decision-making system has been replaced with a new tab-based architecture. Enemy AI is now easier to understand through the AI log, behaves more consistently, and no longer gets stuck repeating the same decisions.
This update also includes numerous gameplay improvements and bug fixes based on feedback received during Alpha Tests 3 through 9.
The major changes are listed below.
The Battle AI has been redesigned from the ground up.
Replaced the previous AI structure with a new tab-based system.
AI now processes Preparation, Healing, Attack, Approach, Rally, and End only once per turn.
The currently processed AI tab is now displayed in the node tree.
Fixed situations where enemies could become stuck without taking action.
AI now attempts to move around blocked adjacent positions.
Clicking an AI log entry highlights the corresponding node and its description.
The currently evaluated node and its log entry are now highlighted.
Four attack styles have been added.
Assault — Prioritizes the greatest threat while conserving Will.
Aggressive — Focuses on finishing weakened enemies.
Steady — Prioritizes accuracy and uses Aim when necessary.
Suppressive — Targets dangerous body parts to disable enemies.
Three healing styles have been added.

Preparation behaviors have also been expanded.

The tab title now directly shows which behavior type the AI is using.
Dedicated Battle AI has been created for every Bandit race.

Enemies of the same race now use different attack styles, creating more varied encounters.
Dedicated Battle AI has also been created for every Creature family.

Creatures capable of using multiple weapons now evaluate their targets and weapons independently.
Some Spider and Tengu Mushroom enemies now cooperate using ranged attacks.
Fixed incorrect weapon skill usage for Cattle, Sheep, Pig, and Snake Bandits.
Fixed enemies approaching targets without attacking.
Fixed melee-oriented AI becoming unable to act.
Fixed AI stopping after running out of Channeling.
Fixed missing Channeling visual and sound effects during battle.
Bandits now drop the equipment parts they were actually carrying.
Loot now accurately reflects each enemy's equipment.
Equipment durability is now stored individually.
Fixed repairing one item repairing every identical item.
Fixed workshop material counts not updating after repairs.
Fixed dismantling reports failing to appear.
Players can no longer exceed the maximum carry weight.
Carry weight limits now apply consistently to loot, trading, and inventory transfers.
Durability and installed parts are now shown in the Loot and Workshop panels.
Body condition can now be viewed from the Inventory panel.
Fixed currency display issues in the Loot panel.
Fixed layout issues in the Glossary panel.
Unified scroll sensitivity throughout the UI.
Reduced message text size in all 13 battle scenes.
Added reading guides for Channeling and Sonkyo.
