Hi dear shopkeepers,
Today's patch is relatively small but one that could not be delayed by much longer. The main reason is that this patch contains several important fixes to frequently occurring issues.
One issue that needed dire fixing is duplicate patrons appearing in the tavern. The other issue is that maxing out the product skill can crash the game.
On the bright side, this update also includes preliminary work to get controller support implemented. One part of that has been improving the area restocking feature which is fairly important for controller players.
Unfortunately, you may have to reconfigure your control remapping if that is something that you have customized.
The area restock feature was a little obscure and its visual feedback has been improved in the anticipation of controller support
Controller support is making good progress and a lot of tabbed and detail styled menus are being reworked. In addition, controller gameplay is also coming along with single display and multiple display restocking having reached a functional state. Next milestones are going to be focusing on manipulating furniture and editing the shop. After that there are still several menus that need a pass to hopefully soon reach a complete gameplay loop exclusively using a controller.
