This update focuses on cases where Steam showed the app as running but no window appeared on some systems. It also adds a diagnostic log tool to help investigate compatibility issues that may remain on a small number of systems.
Startup and Window
- Fixed an issue that could leave the main window hidden even after it had finished loading.
- Removed a redundant window zoom update during startup.
- Launching the app again will now restore and focus an existing window if it is hidden or minimized.
- These improvements are included in both the full version and the Demo.
Diagnostic Logs
- Added a “Diagnostic log” feature to Settings.
- The log includes the app version, system, CPU, graphics adapter, and recent startup events.
- It does not include artwork or paths to opened files, and it is not uploaded automatically.
- It is saved to the Documents folder by default. If that location is not writable, you will be asked to choose another location.
- After it is generated, the log file is automatically shown in File Explorer.
If you previously encountered a launch with no window, please update and try again. If the issue persists, feel free to contact me through Steam Discussions or by email; the new log information will help me continue the investigation.
