Desktop Gremlins · published
Create a private room and invite a friend through Steam. Once connected, they can interact with your gremlin, activate permitted effects, and send messages to your desktop.
You decide which actions your friend can use. Permissions update instantly during the session. Streamer Mode hides the room code.
Create your own desktop effects using rain, explosions, moving particles, orbits, text, custom images, and sounds.
You can test an effect directly on your desktop, save it locally, or prepare it for publication on Steam Workshop.
The gremlin can now be added to OBS as a separate transparent source. It walks around the scene, reacts to messages, and performs feeding, petting, jumping, sleeping, and coffee actions.
You can hide the character from your desktop without hiding it in OBS.
Four new actions have been added:
Window Gravity
Window Magnet
Window Swap
Window Grid
You can now adjust the size of the text bubble separately, draw a custom movement zone, and choose the character’s behavior.
Gremlin Chat now supports custom general replies and question-and-answer rules.
Version 2.9 introduces a completely redesigned menu with dedicated sections for Friends, OBS, Chaos, and the Workshop.
You can also select the frame rate for animated effects to control GPU usage.
Thank you for playing Desktop Gremlins!
