4.1.9 - Bug Fixes and Tweaks
NON-BUGS
- Made the quest preview boxes wider. Text was getting cropped for longer quest names
- Darkened the nostrils in one of the noses so it wouldn't look too much like the other one.
- Tweaked jungle generation
- I tweaked the weapon balances. Bows still need adjustment. Fairly significant nerf to instruments, maybe a bit too much. Open to thoughts.
- Slightly boosted wood output from trees and stone output from small/large rocks
- The amount of pollution required to level up was super high. The island generates with about 40,000 pollution on it. It required roughly 1600 cleaned up per level. I've changed it to be roughly 200. The game calculates this based on percentages, so the number crept up on me. 10% of the total goo on the island has to be cleaned to reach full HP.
- Made it way easier to level up the axe
BUGS
- Fixed a bug where some quests wouldn't save.
- Fixed a bug where the game freaks out if the addressables haven't loaded by the time you get to the "choose player" menu
- Fixed a bug where bomb arrows wouldn't detonate upon hitting a creature
- Hopefully fixed a big where closing to main menu and then spam clicking on the screen causes the game to freeze and explode
- Fixed bug where fishing in some areas results in player getting stuck.
- Fixed bug where arrow count wouldn't visually update when you shoot arrows
- Fixed bug where nectar pool was glowing at night
- Fixed an issue where saving and quitting while the game is ALREADY saving (from autosave or "save and continue" button) will cause a weird double save to happen, which could potentially cause issues.
- Fixed a bug where the tiles would have small gaps between them when in windowed mode. They would also sometimes have little dark edges, as if slightly overlapping (usually the roofs). This was an issue with the normal maps
- NPC armor was not properly being used to determine damage.
- Elemental defenses were being calculated incorrectly, resulting in instrument weapons appearing more powerful than they should have.
- Arrows will now shoot through open doorways
- Beachwood now counts as "any wood"
- The pollution near the beacon was on the wrong layer
- Fixed some un-cleanable snow in the frozen tundra
- Fixed a visual issue where you could see little blurry black bars at the edge of the screen
