Hey gamers, hope you can try the new version of my demo.
v0.23 is here with one of the biggest gameplay changes so far. After several months of playtesting feedback, I went back and completely refactored and revamped how the combat system works underneath. Battles now use a new card based combat system where each turn adds a new random card to your hand. You’ll now have access to different types of attacks, defense cards, skills, alongside the previous item system already in the game. The goal with this change is to make combat feel more dynamic and unpredictable while still giving the player control over the outcome of battles.
This update also includes a couple quality of life improvements and bug fixes across the demo. The game is finally starting to feel closer to the version I originally had in mind, and all the feedback from players has genuinely helped shape it into something better. I really appreciate everyone that has taken the time to try the demo so far, and I’d love for you to give this new version a go.
