Access to the playtest will be revoked Monday, September 7th. I cannot thank all the testers who joined the discord enough.
It is because of you all that I can announce:
I am able to get it out over a week ahead of schedule thanks to the wonderful discord community and their help. I cannot wait for the world to see it.
Steam really favors new games that have high concurrent player counts. This means the more people playing at once, the better. A great way to help out would be to take a break from Octbuster right now, fill up your tanks a bit, and then dive back in Tuesday on the official demo release.
I will be making at least one more update to the playtest and could use some help making sure everything looks good, but it's most important that we get as many people playing and streaming Octbuster at the same time.
