Crimson Engines · published · build 25137332

Update v0.2.4 is now live!

Tonight's update is packed with major improvements across the game, including a permanent baseline inventory expansion, an overhaul of Coven Trials and Invasions, AFK leader protection, a dedicated Coven notice board, a complete rework of the Swift Siphon elixir, quest generation improvements, and critical group combat fixes.

Inventory & Economy

  • Base Inventory Expansion (+50 Slots): Default inventory space has been permanently increased from 100 to 150 slots for every player.
  • Maximum Capacity Increased: Players with Crypt Coffer Seals can now expand their inventory up to a maximum of 250 slots (previously 200).
  • Crypt Coffer Seal Price Adjustment: Reduced the price of Crypt Coffer Seals in the Premium Shop from $4.99 down to $1.99.

Coven Trials, Invasions & Events Overhaul

  • Dedicated Event Arena Screen: Trials and Breaches now load into their own focused event screen, preventing screen-hijacking or locking out other clan members who are busy crafting or adventuring.
  • Combat Scaling & DPS Stabilization: Player combat level is now snapshotted at the beginning of trials, eliminating runaway DPS feedback loops and erratic balance spikes mid-fight.
  • XP Multipliers & Fair Rewards: Trial combat damage now scales strictly with your weapon and skill level. Earn a 6x XP boost up to a 200,000 XP cap, with standard 1x XP continuing afterward.
  • Reward Claim Summary: Finishing an invasion or trial now displays a comprehensive victory breakdown modal detailing total combat skill XP earned, coven collective XP, and loot rewards.
  • Skilling Events Refinement: Harvesting and Resource Cache events no longer show combat roles; they now correctly display the relevant gathering and crafting discipline.
  • Floating Runes Restored: Floating interactive arena runes have been restored to the combat floor with automatic claim upon event completion.

Coven Governance & Clan Systems

  • 7-Day AFK Leader Protection: If a Coven Leader remains inactive for 7 consecutive days, leadership automatically transfers to the next most senior eligible player.
  • Succession Hierarchy: Leadership passes to the most senior active Officer by join date. If no officers are present, it passes to the most senior Member. The previous leader is transitioned to Officer so their clan achievements and membership remain intact.
  • Coven Notice Board: Leaders and Officers can now post announcements, rules, and event schedules directly on the Clan overview tab with live author tags and timestamps.
  • Roster Reorganization: The Collective member list is now strictly categorized by rank (Leader, Officers, Members) and sorted by join date seniority.
  • Live Activity & Notifications: Added real-time notifications for notice board updates, leadership transfers, donations, and quest milestones.

Combat, Crucible & Party Fixes

  • Group Combat Crucible Progression: Defeating monsters in party combat now properly awards Crucible refinement kill progress and achievements to all participating party members based on zone drop tiers.
  • Party Role Gear Preservation: Fixed a bug in party lobbies where switching combat roles (Tank, Melee, Archery, Magic, Support) could un-equip weapons or reset your equipped loadout.
  • Swift Siphon Rework: The Elixir of Swift Siphon now grants a reliable 10% lifesteal proc on hit with a 30-second internal cooldown and a guaranteed minimum heal floor of 1 HP.

Quests & Skilling Improvements

  • Quest Variety & Reroll Balance: Broadened the pool of skills generated by quest rerolls, preventing repetitive back-and-forth loops between the same two skills.
  • Level Caps & Tier Step-Downs: Daily and clan quests now strictly adhere to your current skill level caps, with automatic tier step-downs to guarantee attainable objectives.
  • Currency Quest Removal: Removed flat gold/currency generation quests in favor of active gathering, crafting, and combat objectives.
  • Navigation & Visual Highlights: Added glowing card indicators and direct drop-source navigation links from quest requirement cards to their respective zones or gathering nodes.
