Greetings Vampires,
Update v0.2.9 introduces a targeted combat balance overhaul for Blood Sorcery to bring magic damage output and armor scaling up to par with physical archetypes.
Blood Sorcery & Mage Combat Balance
- Innate 30% Spell Pierce: Blood Sorcery attacks now naturally bypass 30% of enemy flat physical armor in both solo combat and party encounters, closing the damage gap against heavily armored foes.
- Spell Damage % Scaling on Robes: All tiers of Sorcery Robes now feature scaling bonus Spell Damage (+1% per piece on T1 Acolyte up to +6% per piece on T6 Void-Conduit, providing up to +30% spell damage across a full 5-piece robe set).
- Offhand Tome Rebalance & Scaling: Sorcery Tomes (Hemomancer's Codex, Soulbound Grimoire, and Tomb of Many Things) now grant scaling power modifiers (8, 18, 32) and bonus spell damage (+2%, +4%, +6%) when wielded alongside a 1-handed wand.
- Blood Weakness Alignment: Corrected combat style calculations so Blood Sorcery receives the intended +15% hit chance advantage against enemies with blood weakness.
- Live Spell Damage Tooltips: Added "Spell Dmg: +X%" readouts to equipment hover tooltips, item inspection modals, and the Inventory Offensive stats overview.
