NEW FEATURE
The ABD — amateur boxing gets a world

Two hundred boys and a sport with a next generation. The Amateur Boxing Development system: its own Thursday nights, nine belts with champions who must defend them (Rankings system), a four-year development clock, graduation to the paid ranks with the pedigree riding on the man, recruitment and more. The Stable splits into two pages; amateur contracts are untouchable; an amateur career stays his for life. ABD Weekly joins the papers to cover the unpaid ranks; your boys' news routes to your promotion feed; amateur scouting is gone — you sign a boy and find out. Thursday became a real bookable calendar card: 12 player cards a year, small gates, no purses, three- or four-round bouts.

This is the first pass and the foundation for development, feedback and suggestions welcome.
