2026/08/20 Patch Notes - Version 0.3.4

EndlessAlice: Alice Swimsuit · published

【DEVELOPMENT UPDATE】

  • The team is currently upgrading Unreal Engine. To ensure version stability, the frequency of updates and the pace of new content will temporarily slow down. Once the engine upgrade is complete and the version is confirmed to be stable, we will accelerate the pace of updates again. Thank you for your patience and support.
  • The game has remained on UE5.3 for quite some time. As a result, some features beneficial to visual effects production—even features introduced in a slightly newer version such as UE5.4—have not been available to us. With UE5.8 now offering many more useful features, the team has decided that this is the right time to upgrade to UE5.8. After careful consideration, we believe this engine upgrade is essential. It will improve both development quality and the gameplay experience, enabling us to create an even better game.

【NEW CONTENT】

  • Added the “Hopeless” difficulty.
  • You can now open “Talent” at the bottom of the in-game Awakening screen to view the Talent tree.
     • In-game, Talent is view-only and cannot be modified.
  • Dummies in the Shelter can now only be damaged after you interact with them.

【QUALITY-OF-LIFE IMPROVEMENTS】

  • Improved the selection icon and visual effects for the Awakening List when using a controller, and fixed abnormal focus jumping when opening certain in-game menus.

【BUG FIXES】

  • Fixed an issue where some effects that should persist were not restored correctly after reconnecting.
  • Added missing descriptions for some of Shibako’s skills.
  • Fixed an issue where ECILA’s egg passive skill could not be triggered.
  • Restored missing sound effects for certain Monsters, “Black Gun,” and some of Alice’s laser attacks.
  • Fixed an issue where Takehime’s “Mummy” skin did not correctly use barefoot footstep sound effects.
  • Fixed an issue where the gunshot sound for Mia’s “Aerogel Bullet” did not correctly apply distance attenuation.
  • Fixed an issue where Mia’s Attack Speed was not displayed correctly in the detailed information panel.
  • Fixed an issue where the attack animations for Takehime and Shi Miao would not play at extremely high Attack Speed. As a temporary measure, the maximum Attack Speed for characters is now capped at 2000%.
  • Fixed an issue where thrown item objects did not have a lifespan limit.
  • A Rollback version is available for this update.
     • If you experience issues such as being unable to play or launch the game, crashes after entering a stage, or severe multiplayer problems, you can temporarily switch to the Rollback version.
     • The Rollback version returns the game to an older, more stable build so you can continue playing while the issues are being resolved.
     • New content will not be available while using the Rollback version.
     • Once the issues have been resolved, switch back to the release branch to return to the latest version.

We recommend enabling Steam Game Recording when reporting complex or difficult-to-confirm issues, as it has less impact on game performance than other recording software. This feature also makes it easy to preserve your Highlight and share it with other players.
If you encounter any issues after the update, please contact us through Discord or the in-game feedback feature (F10).
If you experience anything interesting in the game, you can also share it with other players using (F12).
Thank you for your continued support of 《EndlessAlice》.
