Spirit Catcher 93' · published
Hey everyone! We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes of Spirit Catcher 93', and we’re excited to share what’s landing in the next update. Here is a quick look at the major changes heading your way:
We are officially moving the game to Unreal Engine 5.7.2. This isn't just a version jump; it brings significant performance optimizations to ensure smoother investigation sessions and better stability across various hardware setups.
We value player choice regarding how content is generated. We’ve added a new AI Content Toggle in the settings.
Disabled: AI-generated voices and music will be turned off.
Replacement: To maintain the atmosphere, disabled tracks will be replaced with curated music from Pixabay that fits the game’s eerie aesthetic.
As we expand the world of Spirit Catcher 93', we’re introducing Trials. These are independent, bite-sized, single-session playthroughs designed for high replayability.
Procedurally Generated, No two runs are the same.
While the main story remains the heart of the game, Trials focus on pure horror mechanics and gameplay loop.
Expect some Trials to experiment with mechanics not seen in the base game.
To give everyone a taste of the new format, one of the first Trials will be released as a free demo alongside the next update!
