We have received reports that some users are experiencing issues when using mouse controls in METAL GEAR SOLID: Peace Walker - Master Collection Version, included in METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.2. The occurrence of these issues appears to vary depending on the mouse being used.
We are currently investigating the cause of this issue. However, we expect that implementing a fix will take some time.
As a temporary workaround, please try setting your mouse polling rate (report rate) to 125 Hz.
Please note that this workaround is not necessary for users who are playing with a gamepad, or for users who are using a keyboard and mouse and are not experiencing any issues during gameplay.
If you are experiencing this issue and are unable to change your mouse polling rate (report rate), please follow the instructions below to apply the beta version and check whether the issue is resolved.
Please note that, as this is a beta version, additional issues may occur. We appreciate your understanding.
If you encounter any issues while using the beta version, we kindly ask that you revert to the standard version.
Additionally, we have confirmed that, in some environments, using the beta version may increase mouse sensitivity. Mouse sensitivity can be adjusted in the in-game options menu, so please check and adjust this setting as needed.
Instructions for downloading and applying the beta version are provided below.
Go to your Library from within the Steam Client and select "METAL GEAR SOLID: Peace Walker - Master Collection Version"
Right click and select “Properties”
Select “Betas” and input ”638u7C6ABYvDdBGv” in the "Private Betas" field, and click "Check Code."
Once the code has been successfully verified, "beta" will appear in the available beta branches. Change the game version from "Default Public Version" to "beta".
After switching to the beta branch, the download will begin automatically. Once the download is complete, you will be able to play the beta version.
To return to the original release version, change the beta participation setting from "beta" to "Default Public Version" .
After switching back, the download will begin automatically. Once the download is complete, you will be able to play the original release version again.
If you changed your mouse polling rate (report rate) to 125 Hz, please revert the setting before launching the game.
