Reported by players: changed settings were lost after restarting the game. Three root causes fixed: the sound toggle & volume were read from the wrong storage on startup (desktop builds only — they reset every single restart); the auto-save interval ignored your choice because the game was reading a retired setting key (your 5/10/30-minute pick was silently overridden back to every-minute saves — and choosing "manual" now truly disables auto-save); and time speed reverted to 1x on restart until you reopened the settings panel. All three now persist and apply on launch.
Previously a refresh just stacked 6 new items on top of the old shelf — old stock could linger for up to 5 refresh cycles, and items you bought out stayed on the shelf as dead entries. Now every refresh replaces the entire stock with a brand-new batch, and an item disappears from the shelf the moment its stock hits zero. Applies to both the normal shop and the sect shop. Also fixed: the sect shop could log a "config not loaded" error on game launch — it now loads and retries automatically.
New in graphics settings → window settings: a zoom slider (60%–150%, with a reset button) that scales the entire interface proportionally — fonts, spacing and cards shrink or grow together, instead of the layout reflowing and stacking when you shrink the window. The zoom level persists across restarts. Desktop builds only.
