🎣 Big fish, better rewards Update 0.2.9 is a full fishing economy and progression rebalance. Large catches now feel valuable, the opening hours move faster, and late-game purchases remain meaningful goals. 🐟 A fairer fishing economy • From 20 kg onward, fish value now grows more strongly with weight at every location.
• Large fish grant considerably more XP, with much better rewards for qualified and record catches.
• Selling directly from the catch window grants +3% from 100 kg, +6% from 500 kg, and +10% from 1.8 t.
• The excessive record-value multiplier was reduced so one lucky catch cannot break the economy. 🪱 Heavy bait and long-term upgrades • Heavy bait packs now contain 10–20 uses, and their cost per cast has been adjusted to match the greater return from large fish.
• The 5 t, 12 t, 50 t, and 100 t keepnets now cost 520,000, 1,100,000, 3,000,000, and 6,000,000 Silver respectively, with Gold alternatives.
• The five global workshop modules are separate from the keepnet purchase, cost 1,032,000 Silver in total, and improve every keepnet. 📜 Ostap's Notes After Solomiya's quest, Ostap offers six challenges built around record fish and the weight of individual catches. Their rewards include soups, bite boosters, and XP that grows with your progress. Completed quests remain completed, while quests started before the update retain their original conditions and rewards. 🎲 A richer daily quiz • The first Silver attempt each day is free.
• Nine cards are rolled independently, so rewards can repeat.
• Larger bait and booster bundles join rare jackpots of up to 100K Silver and 1K Gold.
• Quiz tickets work directly in the window, and paid rounds can be resumed without paying twice. 🌧 Smoother fishing Rain and fog are less demanding and transition more smoothly. Heavy rain is denser at full effects, rain remains clearer in daylight, and the brief dark flash when fog appears has been removed. Brief stalls were also reduced when opening the map, preparing fishing cards, refreshing weekly rankings, spawning collection items, and showing the rod for the first time. An optional compact FPS counter is now available in Settings. 🐾 More fixes and polish Shoreline plants and fishing gear now better match each habitat. Pet-pair timers, clean-reeling streaks, coastal bonuses, club reward localization, and player levels on social screens were corrected. Existing saves remain compatible with the update. All new player-facing patch notes and Ostap text are available in ten languages. Thank you for helping us make One More Fishing better. Tight lines! 🎣
