Market Simulator: Miami Beach · published · build 23858188
Hello everyone,
First and foremost, we want to thank every single one of you who purchased the game and took the time to leave a review. Launch week was incredibly stressful, and we know the initial state of the game fell short of your expectations.
We are just a two-person indie development team, and honestly, we missed some crucial things during testing. Your reviews, both positive and negative, were a massive wake-up call for us. We spent the last few days working non-stop to fix the core issues you reported.
Here is what we have fixed and added in this major update:
Critical Technical Fixes
Save System & Settings: Fixed! The game now properly saves your progress and remembers your language and settings choices. You will no longer lose everything when returning to the main menu.
Mouse & Dual Monitor Issues: Fixed the frustrating bug where the mouse would slide over to the second monitor. Sensitivity and camera locking are now working correctly.
Brand New Tutorial System
No More Guessing: We added a brand-new mascot companion to the game! It will guide you step-by-step through the early game, showing you exactly what to do, where to go, and which keys to press via the new objective panel on the left side of your screen.
Quality of Life & Level Design
Warehouse Relocated: We heard you loud and clear—walking back and forth to the warehouse felt like a walking simulator! We have moved the warehouse right next to the shop for a much smoother gameplay loop.
Pricing Feedback Panel: Wondering why customers aren't buying anything? We added a warning panel that pops up every minute if your prices are set too high, so you're never left in the dark about your sales strategy.
AI Improvements
Smarter Cleaner: The cleaner will no longer stand in the middle of the shop blocking your customers. If there is nothing to clean, they will wait outside nicely.
General Bug Fixes: Squashed various other minor bugs affecting customer pathfinding and gameplay flow.
We know we still have work to do, but we are fully committed to making this game the best it can be.
If this patch improves your experience, please consider updating your Steam review. As a tiny indie team, your reviews are literally our only lifeline to keep updating and expanding the game.
Thank you for your patience and for giving us a chance to make things right.
