Hi! We've got an update for you.
Thank you for playing Meepie. In the first hours after release, we got notified about a few minor bugs and suggestions. Your satisfaction is our #1 priority, so the 1.0.1 hotfix launches just 5 hours after release!
Changelog:
Levels: added a hole in Level 01 to discourage players from incorrectly placing a mirror
Settings: the resolution picker now works properly
Settings: the 'Apply' button has been renamed to 'Save', since the changes on the settings screen are applied immediately upon change
Level Editor: the bulldozer now lets you delete walls (previously you had to replace them with ground tiles, which was unintuitive)
Level Editor: fixed a bug that let you place objects on walls
Known issues:
Sometimes after finishing the level, the ‘next level’ button can take you to a level you already completed. Going back to the level selection screen and selecting the next level manually will solve this.
In some cases, clicking on a tip will show you a tip for a different level. Quiting the level, entering it again and clicking the tip button will show the correct tip. You will not have to buy the tip again.
The Steam Workshop level upload feature can sometimes yield unknown errors. Try renaming your level, saving, and uploading again.
The 1.0.1 update is now available for Windows and macOS!
Again, thank for you playing Meepie - your feedback is very valuable and contributes to the game's quality. If you spot any new bugs or have any suggestions, please visit the Community Hub and submit them!
We encourage you to try the Meepie Workshop, where you can create new levels and share them with others.
Till next time!
