Promo Wrestling World — Calendar, PPV, Championships & Feud Payoff Update

Hey all! Follow-up drop after the last build, and it grew into a big one. You can now sim straight to any date by clicking it, PPV weekends have a real command center, championships got a full overhaul, feuds actually pay off, and a pile of stuff got tightened up. Let's go.

📅 Click a Day, Sim to It

This is the big quality-of-life win. No more clicking "advance" over and over.

  • Click any future date on the calendar and you'll sim right to it. You get a quick heads-up first — how many days, how many of your shows and rival shows run on the way — then off you go.
  • Cleaner calendar look — days are easier to read, the day you picked gets a highlight ring, and past days aren't washed out anymore.

🏠 Dashboard Week Calendar & Side Tabs/Panels

  • A live 7-day calendar is now on your dashboard by default, with your shows and rival events at a glance.
  • Same click-a-day-to-sim option right from the dashboard — no need to jump to the Calendar tab.
  • Siide tab panels have a hover over option. When collapsed, side tab panels now have an option to enable hover over that allows you to view the whole tab panel section. This is off by default. Don't forget you can drag and drop collapsed panels to other areas on your screen!

💰 PPV Weekends Got a Real Command Center

Building a pay-per-view finally feels like promoting a big event instead of just filling slots.
    • A dedicated PPV HQ screen — see the whole card main-event-down, empty slots and all, with estimated buys and projected revenue right there.
    • A readiness checklist grades your show before the bell: hot feuds, title matches, star power, a payoff-ready storyline, enough booked matches. It tells you flat out if you're "PPV Ready," "Needs Work," or "Not Ready."
    • Campaign timeline — a countdown that walks you through Plan → Build → Sell → Produce → Night Of.
    • Pricing strategy — pick your buy-in tier from Value up to Supercard, and watch how it swings your buyrate and reach.
    • One-night production upgrades — "Go Big for PPV" to splurge on spectacle for the big show, then drop back to your weekly setup after.
    • Network bidding war for PPV distribution deals, plus a "Create PPV" button to schedule a one-off event without touching the World Editor.
    • Handy side panels: hottest feuds, championship spotlights, your top stars, and the storyline pipeline marked "Payoff Ready" when an arc's ripe.

    🏅 Championship Overhaul

Titles are way deeper now — they've got identity, history, and a lifecycle. Plus a Create A Title option!

    • 13 title formats to pick from when you create or edit a belt — World, Women's, Tag, Women's Tag, Trios, Mixed Tag, Cruiserweight, Hardcore, Television, Regional, Heritage, Tournament Cup, or fully Custom. The format sets holder count, defense cadence, and eligibility.
    • Title lifecycle — set a belt Active, Inactive, or Retired, and hide the ones you're not using.
    • A real prestige system — belts build prestige from defenses, reign length, and PPV exposure, shown as a score on every title card.
    • Title history & lineage — pop open any belt to see its full list of past champions and how long each held it.
    • Hall of Reigns — an all-time top-10 longest reigns board with gold/silver/bronze podium spots.
    • Belt art — swap any championship's look from a bundled gallery or upload your own.
    • A championship control header up top showing your top prize, total/active/vacant counts, and average prestige — with a warning when active belts are sitting without a champion.

    🥊 Feuds Pay Off Now

    • Blow-off and payoff matches in a hot feud get a real rating boost — the hotter the storyline, the bigger the bump. A slow-burn rivalry finally cashing in feels like an event.
    • Big blow-offs reward the wrestlers involved — a one-time momentum and popularity bump when a red-hot feud pays off, plus a news beat to mark the moment.

🏆 Tournaments — You Control the Bracket

    • Player tournament brackets now advance properly on your end — you move the bracket along yourself and results resolve cleanly, instead of stalling.

    🔎 Search and Ctrl+K Navigation

    • Ctrl+K opens the command palette so you can jump to screens, wrestlers, titles, storylines, stables, and promotions.
    • The top search bar now gives quick inline results without stealing focus while you type.
    • It also supports fast actions like Save Game, Run Show, and opening Genci from the command palette.
    • Full keyboard flow — type to filter, arrow keys to move, Enter to go, Esc to bail.

    🤖 Dashboard Widgets Cleaned Up

    • Genci's dashboard card is now real insights — the hottest feud, a rising star, an open title — instead of clunky filler.
    • The onboarding widget turns into a Quick Actions launcher once you finish onboarding, instead of leaving a blank gap.

🧾 Rival Shows Report the Real Number

    • Rival show recaps and world news now pull the actual rating the sim gave that show, so what you read matches what really happened.

    🛠️ Fixes and Polish

    • PPV card editing now opens the card builder cleanly and returns you to PPV HQ instead of kicking you to the wrong screen.
    • Genci championship advice now respects active vs inactive/retired titles.
    • Tryout signings drop the day after their show now, not weeks later — and a "Tryout" badge on the roster card makes it clear they're not a full signing.
    • Upgrades has its own tab next to Empire (same style as Free Agents / Talent Wars under Contracts), and the leftover tab strip got pulled off the other Business pages.
    • World Editor venue cards show the full state/region instead of cutting it off, and you can finally set capacity freely — clear the field and type 5500 without the old "50 minimum" fighting you.
    • Under-the-hood safety guard so the weekly upkeep can't double-run and double-charge you if a sim overlaps a week boundary.

Thanks as always for playing and for the feedback — a lot of this came straight from your suggestions. Keep it coming!
