Chaos Coin Demo · published
Hi, all! I’m chugging along on some new coins for the main game, but in the meantime I’ve gotten some useful fixes and features that are now in the demo.
The main thing is input remapping! While there aren’t too many buttons in Chaos Coin, having remapping will make it easier to play one-handed or handle non-standard controllers, as well as give more granular info on the shortcut buttons for high-speed players.
As always, please use the in-game feedback form if you find any issues!
Changes include:
Added Controls menu to the settings with input remapping for all input actions. The remapping is saved with the global save data.
Clearer indication of whose coins are whose. Highlighting an enemy now indicates which coin is theirs, and highlighting an enemy’s attack preview icon indicates both the unit and the coin.
It’s not in use yet, but Spikes has been split into separate statuses for Spikes (just the damage) and Spiky Shield (the previous effect).
Penny descriptions in rewards now correctly display the effect of stacking with existing player pennies.
Having multiple Growth or Spy pennies will no longer result in incorrect Inversion to the blank side when on opposite sides.
Lots of little cosmetic and text fixes. (I won’t be exhaustively listing these until closer to release!)
