YEAR OF THE CRAB: THE FREE CONTENT UPDATE IS OUT NOW

It's finally Time for Crab once again! Just four days short of Another Crab's Treasure's one year anniversary!

We worked really hard on this update. As you can see, there's a lot. And we're pretty proud of how much we were able to throw in. Thank you for following us on our crab journey. So dive in, get your shell handed to you, thank us, then try again.

In case you missed our previous post, here's a look at what's in the update...

As a reminder, this is not a DLC, it's a FREE yes FREE content update. It's not a small one either, we packed this baby with a bunch of new stuff:

NEW GAME PLUS

The most highly requested feature from the community ever since we launched was New Game Plus, and the response to the game has been so overwhelming that we eventually had to do it. I'm happy to say that we cooked on this.

IMPORTANT: If you have already completed the game prior to the update, you will need to refight the final boss (SPOILERS: Firth) to activate New Game Plus. You can use the gun if you want, I won't snitch. Think of it as a warm up ;)

We didn't just lazily scale up enemy stats and call it a day, we've added new moves to bosses, some new items, and oh yeah, remixed almost every enemy encounter in the game. You'll even be able to upgrade your fork and stowaway weight even higher. Have you ever wanted FOUR stowaway slots? NG+ has FOUR stowaway slots. PLUS we've also added new exclusive stowaways for NG+, the Sigils.

OUTSIDE of New Game Plus...

REFIGHT BOSSES

You'll now have the chance to go back to your favorite boss fights and get your shell handed to you through COMBAT MEMORIES. Maybe you just wanna listen to Polluted Platoon Pathfinder again, I won't judge. Re-fight any defeated boss in your playthrough from any Moon Snail Shell. Speaking of bosses...

BOSS RUSH MODE

Topoda now offers Boss Rush challenges - with a variety of themed sequential fights.

NEW COSTUMES

OK I GUESS I can't just move on from this without leaking one of the new costumes. Here's a look at Pretty Princess Kril:

MUSEUM BESTIARY

The Museum is finally open again for business, and inside is a constantly updated display of all enemies you encounter and defeat in your journey.

CHAPTER SELECT

Wanna dive back in to a specific point in the story? Now you can with Chapters!

Chapter Select can be enabled from the Settings menu.

AND ONE NEW BOSS FIGHT.

I'm not snitchin' ok. I won't budge, but trust me it's a well deserved fight. This boss totally deserves it.
