Blood for the Throne · published · build 22859500
This update puts more control in your hands — from building your army to directing units in battle — along with UI clarity improvements, balance changes, and important fixes.
Army composition system reworked:
Generals no longer come with fixed starting armies
Each general now has a budget, allowing you to build your own army composition
Greater flexibility in choosing unit roles and strategies before battle
Command system redesigned:
Commands now use dedicated buttons instead of toggling
Improved responsiveness and clarity when issuing orders
Overall optimization of command behavior during battles
Added more tooltips across the UI for better clarity
Improved feedback when using consumable items
Units can now be renamed, allowing better organization (frontline, flank, backline, etc.)
General balance pass across units and systems
Fixed an issue where selecting and placing multiple units during the strategy phase could fail
This update focuses on giving you more control — how you build your army, how you command it, and how clearly the game communicates your decisions. More content and improvements are on the way.
