Who Did It? Update 1.6 "The Investigation Continues" Out Now!

major update

Who Did It? - Supporter Edition Content · published · build 24126170

Hello Detectives!

Finally, welcome to update 1.6! I still wanted to add a few QoL fixes before calling it finished. And also releasing today is Case Pack #1! 10 extra cases on top of the main game. With more DLC packs coming later.

IMPORTANT: SAVE DATA MIGRATION

To allow for more complex data saving, the old save data system needed to be somewhat reworked. When you launch the game next time, the game will automatically migrate your savedata to this new system. You won't notice any of this, but it is worth mentioning.

Your old savedata will still remain in place, so if anything would go wrong (it won't, but still) it is still available.

This process is automatic and happens when you launch the game and load the main menu. When the main menu is loaded, please wait for a few seconds before closing the game.

Highlights:

DLC Release: "Case Pack #1"

Adding 10 completely new cases to solve on top of the main game. With the same features you know like all gamemodes and difficulty's, statistics and localization!

New achievements

A few DLC-related achievements have been added. Please look at your achievement tracker to find out more!

Updated the Insane Challenge

Since "Crime First" is now the most difficult gamemode in the game, I felt like balancing this challenge.

To complete the Insane Challenge, close any case in the Crime First gamemode and Detective difficulty. Completing this grants you a special ID card, XP, and a Steam achievement.

NOW ALSO AVAILABLE FOR CASE PACK #1!

Achievement Tracker Menu

Added a achievement tracking menu to the game, accessible via the 'options' menu.

View your achievements here and see how much xp you get with each!

This update focusses on many small fixes and Qol features. Please read the changelog below if you are interested!
