Demo Update: Roster Building, AI Team Management, and Player Ecology Overhaul

中国篮球经理:王朝之路 Demo · published

Hello everyone,

This Demo update focuses on team rosters, AI roster-building logic, and long-term player development. The Demo still includes three complete playable seasons.

Main changes:

  • Reworked every team’s opening roster, improving the distribution of age, position, ability, and salary.

  • Preserved meaningful differences between strong and weak teams while introducing more natural bargain contracts, overpaid contracts, and roster weaknesses.

  • Increased the salary cap to 40 million while preserving the existing contract-pricing system.

  • AI teams now create a roster plan before signing players, based on team personality, positional needs, competitive expectations, and financial circumstances.

  • Improved AI renewal and release decisions. Teams will no longer blindly renew every player and can actively create roster spots and salary space.

  • AI teams can recruit domestic or foreign players according to their actual needs and receive 5 million in over-the-cap flexibility for renewals.

  • Youth prospects can earn roster and rotation opportunities based on ability, potential, and each team’s development philosophy.

  • Fixed player-generation templates to produce more natural attributes, positional profiles, and ability distributions.

  • Attributes outside a player’s main training focus can now improve through games, seasonal development, and natural growth.

  • Reworked OVR calculations for all five positions. Secondary skills such as shooting, passing, and ball handling now have a more meaningful effect on player evaluation.

  • Improved the age and ability distribution of foreign players, including more young imports in their twenties and a better chance of producing truly elite talent.

  • Fixed long-term talent inflation, ability gaps, weak foreign-player pools, and declining AI roster quality.

  • Improved the long-term balance between elite domestic players, NBA careers, and players returning to the domestic league.

This version has passed the complete three-season Demo flow and a fixed-seed 30-year simulation.

If you notice a team with an unreasonable age structure, positional balance, salary distribution, foreign-player strategy, or AI roster decision, please let us know which team and season it occurred in. Long-term roster ecology requires continued observation and adjustment, so feedback from your saves is especially valuable.

Thank you for your support.
