New UI:

The new version introduces a brand new UI, which is more modern compared to previous versions. Veterans will notice the difference, while new players can just dive right in and experience the new UI.

As shown, this is the new in-game UI – much more modern!

New Map:

The new map is themed around delicious food and incorporates mechanics from classic Monopoly-style games. Here's a preview of the start of the new map.

Most of the new Map 3 is complete and already supports a full gameplay experience. However, please note that balance and other aspects have not been adjusted, and the map content is not final. Therefore, specific numerical values will be omitted later. Feel free to provide feedback through the channels at the end of this post (jump in now and you'll be a veteran!).

Existing Features:

The New Three Map has unique mechanics: a Coin System, Forked Path System, Property (Restaurant) System, and Shop System.

Coin System:

Money makes the world go round.

As shown, the New Three Map introduces a Coin System. There is a global bank starting with 500 coins (510 in the image is after some gameplay).

Each player also starts with 100 coins.

Coins can be spent in the Property System and the Shop System.

There are coin-earning tiles on the map – landing on them makes the bank pay the player.

If a player goes bankrupt, they will be executed… meaning teleported back to the hell start tile and forced to eat the famous British dish, Stargazy Pie!

If the bank goes bankrupt? Then all players will face the Great Depression – every player can only move backward until the bank's debt is cleared, or after three rounds when payday automatically triggers a debt restructuring.

Normally, every ten rounds, both the players and the bank receive wages. The wages are divided into three tiers, distributed at the start, mid, and late game. Wage distribution clears player debt and bank debt before paying out.

After each wage distribution, the round counter and bank debt restructuring count are reset.

Forked Path System:

Two roads diverged in Map 3,And sorry I could not travel both

As shown, the New Three Map has a unique forked path mechanism. At a fork, when continuing to move or coming back from a merge point, players can choose either path based on their judgment. Each path has its own advantages. Forked paths are usually longer but offer more opportunities to develop, while the main path is shorter but more dangerous.

Property System (or Restaurant System):

He said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?”

Tiles marked with a dashed border on the New Three Map are called properties. When a player lands on such a tile, they can choose to spend coins to build a restaurant. If the same player lands on it again, they can spend coins to upgrade the restaurant. When another player lands on it, they will be forced to buy invited to taste the local delicacies, boosting the local economy and paying the property owner a small fee.

The cost of building a restaurant normally goes to the bank.

The highest restaurant level is currently 3. A future update will open level 4 stores, which require special methods to upgrade. If a player owns a level 4 restaurant in every region, they will achieve a special victory.

Shop System:

Not buying saves 100%!

Players may encounter shop tiles marked with "SHOP" on the map. Landing on one opens the shop. In multiplayer and single-player modes, the shop also opens for all real players every ten rounds.

In local multiplayer, because multiple players may play simultaneously and it's hard to split purchases, the shop can only be opened by landing on a shop tile for now.

The shop interface is shown above. Players can browse and purchase items, as well as read our humorous flavor text. The purchase time limit is shown on the right, player coins are displayed in the top right, and you can end the purchase phase early.

All coins spent in the shop go to the bank.

Pie in the Sky (Future Plans):

Currently, Map 3 is fully playable, but many mechanics are still incomplete, such as shop-exclusive items, and a "Rich Mode" where players with lots of coins move faster, etc. Stay tuned!

Local Multiplayer Mode:

The new version also introduces a third mode: Local Multiplayer.

In the new local multiplayer interface, you can freely adjust the number of players and turn any player into an AI. However, at least one human player is required to start a game.

Before starting, you can choose the map. Currently, Local Multiplayer offers the Standard Map (i.e., New Three Map) or the Classic Map (Map 1).

After selecting the map, you'll enter the hero selection screen as shown. AI players will automatically pick random heroes, while human players can choose their hero or also opt for a random one.

Once all players have selected their heroes, the game begins. Special UI elements support large-screen touch PC devices.

Summary:

This update mainly brings a new UI, New Three Map, and a new mode – the New Three Update. Due to the small team size, testing may not be thorough, and bugs may exist. Please bear with us.
