Hello, Pebble Knights!
This v0.1.24 hotfix addresses a wide range of issues, including voice chat and settings bugs, Trait balance, Underworld progression, weapons, and achievements.
Check out the full details below.
Fixed an issue where repeatedly toggling voice chat on and off could eventually leave it permanently disabled.
Fixed an issue where changing the input device in Options would not be recognized by the game.
Other players' voice volume values now update in real time when adjusted and are properly applied.
Increased the default voice volume to fix an issue where voices were barely audible.
Weaponmons were getting a little too big and clingy, so we've made them smaller.
Fixed an issue where the white lines connecting duplicate Traits and the One For All Trait did not disappear immediately after being acquired.
Fixed an issue where the Static Electricity Trait would not activate properly while holding a Devil Weapon.
Fixed an issue where the Toxic Leech Trait could sneakily continue activating even after death.
Pexcalibur now turns the teammate you're holding into a real sword. Careful, it's sharp!
The flashbang from the Dazzleman Trait now goes off more often without warning. Its activation interval has been reduced.
Starting from Floor 30, damage from map hazards such as bombs and meteors now increases as well.
Fixed an issue where Final Boss Doors could appear consecutively and give Knights an unexpected scare.
Fixed an issue where the Question Mark Room on Floor 26 could lead directly to the Final Boss Room like a shortcut.
Reduced the Attack Power of the Fist bosses.
Fixed a critical issue where clearing Floor 30 of the Underworld and returning to the Lobby would incorrectly send players to a Continue lobby.
Bosses' unique weapons and rewards are now for admiring, not eating. Players can no longer pick them up.
Sparkle Ice Pop
Fixed an issue where 2 to 3 Trait icons gained through ascension or eating could overlap on a guest player's Ore.
Fixed an issue where weapons with Dark Traits could appear in Hell Rooms.
5-Star Pizza
Improved the visual effect to make it clearer which Trait was removed.
Traits expelled from your body now have a 51% chance to become Dark Traits.
Royal Mandu Jeongol
Fixed an issue where, after the King died, a player dying and reviving could cause the screen to malfunction and launch the character away unexpectedly.
Fixed an issue where some Mythic weapons had less ammo than their Legendary versions.
Fixed an issue where the Laser Gun could occasionally stop firing.
Fixed an issue where newly acquired Laser Guns could start with 0 ammo and become impossible to reload, leaving them completely useless.
Fixed an issue where the achievement for owning 5 summon abilities could unlock without actually having 5, sometimes with only 1 to 2.
Fixed an issue where some achievements would not unlock even after meeting their requirements.
Fixed the overly generous check that counted simply picking up a Laser Gun as earning the "A Light Snack" achievement.
Fixed an issue where the newly added pig and some Trait effects would awkwardly appear during the pixel-art credits sequence.
Fixed a masking issue where some effects would be awkwardly cut off while descending through doors.
Fixed an issue where changes in character size could slightly alter the item pickup range.
You will now drop whatever you're holding when Squashed.
Removed the fire effect and unnecessary camera effects from the fire-immune Helios.
Refined camera effects and added new visual effects for Poison, Freeze, and Confusion.
The Early Access notification that appeared every time an Order was created will now only appear once.
Fixed an issue where rooms previously completed after using Continue would not appear in the list of cleared rooms.
Fixed an issue where activating the Archangel's Salvation effect while a boss was Groggy could cause the boss to remain permanently Groggy with its HP locked, effectively making it invincible and blocking progression.
Thanks to the detailed reports from all our Knights, we've once again been able to track down and squash a number of bugs. Thank you, as always!
We'll continue rolling out careful hotfixes to make Pebble Knights more stable.
