Agari: what's new (1.15.0 to 1.16.0)

Agari — Riichi Mahjong · published

A summary of what's changed since the last patch notes.

  • Two new voice characters! Eiichi and Mimi join the voice roster under Settings > Audio > Voice. Stay tuned for even more options in the future.

  • Player name textbox now supports pasting. You can paste your name into the player name field with Cmd/Ctrl+V, including support for non-Roman characters. This is an interim fix for now, as typing non-Roman characters directly with your system's input method does not work on desktop yet. The support for that is a bit more involved so I will reserve it for an upcoming update.

  • Japanese dragon names (consistency update). The dragon yaku now display their Japanese names: Haku, Hatsu, and Chun.

  • More consistent button feel. Buttons and controls throughout the game now activate on release rather than on press.

  • This release also includes a range of smaller fixes and under-the-hood improvements.

Thank you so much for playing Agari and for all of your feedback and suggestions!

Stay tuned for a larger update with some new features I've been working hard on and excited to make available to everyone soon.
