✨ New in the Shop

Mystical Banana — an animated banana that was never meant to be peeled. Available now in the in-game store.

🔧 Crafting Fixes

Crafting had two problems, and they were both our fault.

  • No more freezing. Hitting CRAFT could lock the whole game for up to 8 seconds while it waited on your Steam inventory. The window looked frozen and plenty of you thought the game had crashed. It hasn't been reading your inventory correctly either way — see below.

  • Crafting now actually finds your items. The game asked Steam for your inventory and then read the answer before Steam had sent it, every single time. It papered over this by retrying blindly, which is why crafting sometimes failed even when you clearly had the materials. It now waits for the real response — which takes about a quarter of a second.

  • A "Searching…" message now shows while your inventory loads, so you know something is happening.

🎁 Drop Fixes

  • The 4-hour slot drop was almost impossible to get. Its timer lived only inside the main screen and reset to zero every time you visited Crafting or Flappy Cat. Unless you sat on the main screen for a straight half hour without touching anything else, it never fired. Drop timers are now tied to the real clock — they keep counting while you move between screens, and even while the game is closed.

  • Two Mystic cats could never drop at all. A typo in the drop table meant Acecatnana and WhiteCatnana were never handed out. Both are back in the pool.

🏆 Achievement Fixes

  • The 100 clicks and 1000 clicks achievements only unlocked if you happened to be sitting at exactly that number. If you came back to a save that was already past it, they never triggered. They now unlock properly, retroactively.

  • Achievements were being re-sent to Steam dozens of times per second while your counter sat on a milestone. That's fixed, which also means fewer hitches.

🐤 Flappy Cat — Rebuilt

This mode was in rough shape. All of this is fixed:

  • The cat was invisible. It was positioned behind the camera, so you were flying a cat you couldn't see.

  • Pipes spawned off-screen. The bottom pipe was often placed entirely below the visible area. Pipe placement is now framed properly at any window size.

  • Score counted wrong. Points were awarded when a pipe spawned, not when you passed it — so the score went up even if you sat perfectly still. You now score by actually flying through the gap.

  • The game broke after you died, throwing errors continuously.

  • Pipes were never cleaned up, piling up forever off-screen and slowly eating memory.

🖥️ Interface

  • UI no longer falls off the screen. On any display that isn't 4:3, buttons, the click counter and the score were pushed outside the visible area. The interface is now anchored properly and scales to your window.

  • Buttons are tidied into the screen corners and stay there at any resolution.

  • Your FPS setting is now remembered between sessions instead of resetting every launch.

⚡ Performance & Stability

  • The game no longer errors out when Steam isn't running. It used to throw errors continuously in the background.

  • Your clicks are safer. Clicking with the Spacebar was incrementing your counter without ever saving it — those clicks were silently lost. Progress is also now saved when you quit or switch away from the game.

  • Sprites are packed into atlases, cutting the work needed to draw the screen.

  • Music now uses about a tenth of the memory it did before.

  • The game no longer allocates memory every single frame just to draw the counter.

  • Discord Rich Presence was updating every frame, far past what Discord accepts. It now updates sensibly and no longer breaks when Discord isn't installed.

  • The game now winds down when its window isn't focused, instead of running at full speed in the background.
