Hey MAVRIX crew!
We’ve got a fresh new update rolling out, bringing fresh freeride content, new cosmetics, more RVs and campers, plus a whole load of improvements across the mountain.
We’ve also been busy behind the scenes making the First-Time User Experience smoother, improving matchmaking reliability, and polishing plenty of those little details that make MAVRIX feel better to play.
Let’s get down to it...
🚵♂️ NEW – 4 Freeride Lines
Fancy finding some fresh lines?
We’ve added four brand-new freeride routes to the mountain, giving you even more places to explore, session and send it.
Get out there and show us what you can find!
Because of this, we have reset player positions back to the RV Car Park
🚐 NEW – More RVs & Campers
More places to call in and give your rider a glow up! 🏕️
We’ve added extra RVs and campers across the world, giving you more options to customise your setup and make the freshest 'fits on the mountain. Speaking of which…
👕 NEW – Fresh Cosmetics
Time for a fresh look?
We've added 5 new cosmetic items to the game, including:
🚲 2 new bike skins
🪖 3 new helmets
Get them equipped and go show them off!
🧭 IMPROVED – Finding Your Way
We've made some improvements to help you navigate MAVRIX, particularly when you're just getting started.
Improved route highlighting.
Clearer highlighting for important Compass items.
Improved directions towards Chairlifts.
Finding your next line should now be a little easier.
🎓 IMPROVED – First-Time User Experience
We've continued to polish the First-Time User Experience (FTUE) to make getting into MAVRIX clearer and smoother for all our new players.
We've made improvements to onboarding, tutorials, route guidance and messaging to help new riders get up to speed without getting in the way of the riding.
🌐 IMPROVED – Matchmaking & Multiplayer
We've been doing some work behind the scenes to improve the reliability of matchmaking and multiplayer.
This includes improvements aimed at:
Reducing failed matchmaking attempts.
Improving how the game handles reconnecting to servers.
Better handling of empty or unsuccessful lobbies.
General matchmaking and server stability improvements.
That means less waiting around and more riding. 🫡
🐞 BUG FIXES
We've also been busy squashing bugs across the mountain, such as:
Fixed slow scrolling on the EULA screen on console.
Fixed an issue where players could load into a server using an invalid Join Code.
Fixed a PlayStation progression issue where conquered regions could award XP too early and too frequently.
Fixed incorrect MAVRIX Cup reward information appearing for some PlayStation and Xbox players.
Plus a whole host of other gameplay, UI, environment and platform fixes.
That’s everything for now, but work is already underway for our next update which will look at additional control schemes, shop updates and a fresh drop of cosmetics.
