Train Sim World 6 Update Notes – August 6th 2026

Train Sim World® 6 · published

Hello everyone,

Today we have a minor update, including a selection of key improvements to texture and memory use on UK locos, including the Class 380, 802 and 220, as well as a few additional improvements for Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn, the Expert BR 145, and when using a raildriver control input.

This update will be going live from 10:00am BST, and please allow up to 24 hours for updates to arrive to your game platform.

Full Changelog

Core

  • Fixed an issue where anti-jitter code stopped functioning on RailDriver causing inputs to be unstable. Fix re-applies previous functioning behaviour and restores stable inputs in most cases.

Please Note: Due to Raildriver hardware, it may not 100% resolve the issue but should now function as it did previously. In most of our test raildrivers it entirely eliminated the instability.

Optimisation & Performance

Additionally, we've targeted a few UK locos for art and texture optimisations to reduce the memory load and ideally remove instances of blurred textures. These changes affect:

  • Class 380

  • Class 802

  • Class 220 Voyager

Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn

  • Removed a second reflective disk from the back of a level crossing signal near Frankenstein.

Expert BR 145

  • Fixed an issue where the audio wasn’t playing correctly when opening/closing doors.

  • Fixed an issue where the BR145 Expert audio would drown out other train audio when in close proximity to another train.
