We are excited to release BodyWalkVR 1.0! This major update brings the highly anticipated FlatVR mode alongside significant UX improvements, better performance, and new depth features.

Main Highlights


- FlatVR Mode Added: Introducing FlatVR with a custom depth algorithm and a refined, user-friendly interface.
- Automatic Driver Checks: The main UI now automatically verifies if your SteamVR Hook and OpenXR Layer drivers are correctly installed and registered, making setup a breeze.

Performance & Depth Features


- GPU Neural Network Inference: Added DirectML GPU support for depth estimation, drastically reducing CPU usage.
- New Depth Presets: Choose between Fast, Normal, and Heavy quality presets using our new lightweight neural network models.
- SuperDepth3D Integration: Added advanced SuperDepth3D shader processing (including direct ReShade integration) alongside standard Native mode.
- Expanded Parallax Range: The zero-parallax distance slider now goes up to 1.0, allowing you to push the focus plane all the way to the background.

Tracking & Fixes


- Opentrack UDP: Added direct Opentrack UDP output from FlatVR with customizable axis inversion and shift.
- Fixed 3D Screenshots: Resolved write-permission issues. Screenshots now save correctly to your Windows Pictures folder, and Virtual Desktop users can now properly capture 3D screens.
