Curved walls, Arched windows, Switch Environments and much more!

Curved walls, Arched windows and round Paths

  • Curved walls: Windows and doors bend with the wall

  • Arch Up and Arch Down — set both to full and you get a round window

  • Paths: Click a side to get a Curve slider for it. Ctrl + click a side to add a point

New doors and windows

  • Garage door (tilt up when open)

  • Sectional door as its own type

  • Double doors with glass, and sliding doors (bug fix)

  • Round-arch tops and horizontal glazing bars

  • Openings at sill height 0.00 no longer flicker along the floor

Import your own models

  • FBX is supported alongside OBJ and GLB

  • Materials and textures are copied into their own folder per model — they stay
with your model across environments and save slots

  • Sizes are read properly: metres, centimetres and millimetres all arrive correct

  • Length / Depth / Height fields for imported models, and the mouse wheel rotates them whenever you pick them up

Building

  • GRID — the 3D view now uses the same grid as the 2D plan, for the lines and
the snapping, and the grid size is switchable in both

  • Stairs: the ceiling opening can be switched off if you'd rather cut it yourself

  • Your own furniture sets are stored in their own file and stay put across save slots

  • Roofs come with a small built-in overhang, ending the flickering

Environments and VR

  • Fixed: loading a Sky Island save in VR would hang on "Loading" forever. Thank you to whoever reported that one.

  • Switch environments without leaving the game, and pick your island size when
    moving to Sky Island

  • Sky Island: fixed collision on the cliffs, much better lighting settings and cloud performance.

  • Empty really is empty now, and scatter objects no longer block you when you walk

Performance

  • The 2D plan was redoing its maths every frame. This is fixed now

Almost every fix in this list started as a feedback from one of you. Keep them coming — I read all of them :)
