Deck Forge Now Has Online Co-op — And It's In The Free Demo

major update

Deck Forge Demo · published

The forge runs co-op.

The biggest update in Deck Forge's history is live — and every bit of it is in the free demo, right now.

⚔ Real online co-op, zero friction

  • Quick Match — one click finds you a party. No friend codes, no Discord links, no lobbies to babysit. Runs launch the moment two forgers meet, and grow up to four.
  • Drop-in, drop-out — join a run already in progress at the next map node. A quick six-pick draft forges your deck, and you're fighting within the minute.
  • Play it your way — solo stays solo unless you open the door. Start alone with drop-ins enabled, matchmake with strangers, or keep the wilds to yourself.

🤖 Meet the Constructs

Nobody around? The forge provides. Cog, Ember, Piston, and Slag are AI companions who fight beside you with their own decks, their own tempers, and their own opinions about your tactics. They're always clearly labeled — we don't dress bots up as humans — and when a real player drops in, your Construct politely yields the seat. They work fully offline, too.

🗺 One journey, your own legend

Travel the Black Forest together and vote on every fork in the trail — but your deck, your relics, and your gold are yours alone. Every player drafts their own build from their own rewards. When a teammate falls, they're knocked out, not gone: win the fight and they're back on their feet.

Also in this update

  • The Viewer — a new mob has opened its eyes in the Black Forest. All of them. It's wearing pink spectacles and it has been studying you.
  • Sharper early encounters, smarter map variety (no more fighting the same mob twice in a row), and bosses that fight back the way they always should have.

Try it. Bring someone.

The demo is free, the co-op is live, and the wilds are waiting. If Deck Forge looks like your kind of journey, a wishlist genuinely helps a small forge get seen.

See you at the anvil. 🔨
