Ghosts and shrines
- Lose your last red heart and you become a ghost instead of dying. Enemies ignore you and nothing can hurt you.
- Your lifetime drains five times faster as a ghost, and that time doesn't come back.
- Ghosts drift slowly, float over pits and through doors, and can still use stairs and other ways between floors.
- A squadmate can revive you by holding F for 3 seconds. It costs them 30 seconds of their own lifetime.
- Or rise alone at a shrine with the same hold. Shrines are found by sight and shared with the squad. There are 5 on the surface, 4 in the cellars, 2 on Demon 1 and 1 on Demon 2.
- When you go down, everything you carry drops where you fell: souls, keys, blueprints, guns, charm. Anyone can pick it up, so you have to win it back.
- Getting up gives you a free pistol again.
- New ghost look: a pale blue spirit with a trail, shrine marks on the radar, prompts for reviving and rising, and a ×5 on the clock.

Extract keys
- Notes are gone. You now leave through an extract pad with a key of the same colour (red, blue or yellow).
- Keys drop from enemies below the surface. Every 8th kill without a key guarantees one.
- Hold F for 3 seconds on a pad with your key and it opens for everyone for 30 seconds.
- Pads are found by sight and shared with the squad.
- Pads have their own sprite, tinted by key colour.

Summons
- You hold one gun at a time again. Left click fires it, right click throws it.
- Some summons float beside you instead. The new orb floats at your shoulder and shoots enemies on its own, and you can buy it without a blueprint.
- Floating guns show their ammo as a bar on the gun.
- Thrown things always break where they land, and nothing is left lying around.
- A dash now cancels a summon channel. Reload and summon sounds are back.

Clock and souls
- The lifetime clock is now a ring on the HUD.
- Gaining time only gives back what you spent or what a deeper floor drained. It can't push you past where you started.
- Raid length, joining time and lifetime are all halved: 15 minutes of lifetime, and joining closes at 15:00 left.
- Souls now spill on the ground as orbs and pull into you with a chime. Enemy deaths, opened caches and downed players all spill them.

Fog and view
- The fog now covers the whole screen, and enemies are streamed to you from further out.
- Everything except terrain hides under the fog.
- The crosshair draws over the fog.
- Fixed a fog crash when teleporting, and a bug that hid a held gun's tracers.

World and polish
- Cellar stairs land you beside the way back up, and nobody lands on top of the stair.
- Cars have sounds, and a driver's legs no longer walk.
- Heat is now a smoulder on your body instead of a light.
- The launcher's first tab is Summons again, with a roster and the agent plate.
- Network object limit raised to 1024.
