Market Chain 98 · published · build 24460072
The highly anticipated major update is now officially live! Thank you to everyone who participated in the open beta and provided invaluable feedback to help shape these features. Here are the full patch notes for this release:
Added a brand new "Supply Chain" terminal featuring three dedicated sub-tabs: Raw Materials, Processing, and Assembly.
You can now manage complex production lines and sell your end products on the Global Market tab. Be careful, as market values will dynamically fluctuate based on active supply and demand.
You now have the ability to actively trade shares of rival companies on the open market.
Hostile Takeovers: If you manage to strategically acquire more than 51% of a rival company's shares, you can initiate a Hostile Takeover via Messenger '98. This allows you to liquidate their assets for a massive payout and fire their CEO.
Note: Unlike the corporate Portfolio app, there are NO price limits or caps in E-Trade. Stocks can skyrocket or crash completely to zero. The risk is entirely yours.
MSN chaatroom is officially online. Keep a close eye on your chat windows while playing. A secret informant will occasionally send you direct messages containing insider tips, rumors, and predictions about upcoming market movements.
I have simulated the infamous late-90s Dot-Com bubble within the game's background economy. The market will experience periods of extreme volatility, so manage your long-term investments carefully.
Fair Play Guarantee: The mine generation algorithm has been completely rewritten. Your first click, along with the immediate 3x3 grid surrounding it, is now guaranteed to be safe.
Daily Token System: To balance the overall economy and prevent exploit farming, BizSweeper now uses a daily limit. You are granted 3 Investment Tokens per in-game day to play. These tokens will automatically refresh at the start of each new day.
Thank you for your continued support and fantastic feedback. Let me know what you think about the new economy balance and the BizSweeper changes in the community discussions. Have fun!
