A smaller update for LIVORA is now live, focused on making several existing parts of the game feel deeper and more connected.
Caregiving now has more weight as parents, partners and other people in your Life grow older or need support. Family life has also been expanded beyond the usual pregnancy route, with more consideration given to fertility, adoption and the different decisions people make around becoming a parent.
Later Life has had some extra attention too. Retirement, pensions, housing choices, family, community involvement, changing health and the practical side of getting older now connect more naturally with the Life you have built up to that point.
Legal & Civic Life has been broadened with more everyday disputes and responsibilities, while Business & Self-Employment now has additional depth around finance, staff, protection and running a growing business.
There are also improvements across housing and renovations, household costs, modern digital life and several areas of Health, including longer-term conditions, accessibility and ongoing care.
As always, these systems are designed to connect rather than sit separately. A change in health can affect work. Caring for someone can affect your time and finances. Housing can matter to family decisions. Retirement can change your social and community Life.
The aim is simple: make each Life feel more believable, more connected and more personal as the years go by.
