Patch Log
Duels
Added the Astral Realm, a new arena for studying, battling, and getting dramatically attacked.
Added a cinematic duel intro with updated camera angles. Duels now arrive with the level of drama they always suspected they deserved.
Updated the Rift Wraith model to look significantly more ominous. It was already hostile, but now it has credentials.
Added new duel animations for both the player and the Rift Wraith. Everyone now moves like they mean it.
Added new visual effects for building and unleashing powers. Magical violence deserves decent production value.
Improved Duel input handling for very long content. The text field has agreed to stop giving up halfway through.
Fixed several Duel issues involving shields, fireballs, player spawn position, and getting stuck in the Astral Realm.
Fixed a missing sky shader in the Astral Realm. The sky has returned to work.
UI and Controls
Updated more UI panels with new assets. The interface continues its slow transformation into something with standards.
Fixed the Resume button on the game menu not returning to gameplay. It now resumes, which was admittedly the assignment.
Fixed buttons scaling out of bounds when clicked quickly. They have been reminded they are buttons, not balloons.
Fixed TAB navigation on the login screen so the password field is focused correctly after entering a username.
Fixed bug report submission not showing confirmation feedback. Reports will now acknowledge your suffering.
Fixed ESC not closing quest notifications. It now escapes as advertised.
Fixed + Threads feedback showing cumulative gain instead of the reward for each correct answer. It has been asked to stop showing off.
Removed the option to fully disable shadows from settings. Shadows are staying employed.
Text and Localization
Fixed Arabic caret positioning while typing. The caret has been reminded that this is a text field, not a platformer.
Fixed Arabic input being covered by the Encounter exit button. Your words and your exit strategy are now allowed to coexist.
Worlds and NPCs
Fixed NPCs in the Chinese world flying without warning. They have been reintroduced to gravity and proper notice procedures.
Fixed some NPCs in the Russian world floating slightly above the ground. They are once again committed to standing.
Fixed some NPCs disappearing at distance or after conversations. Social anxiety is no longer a rendering feature.
Fixed the MD Arena in the Chinese world being oversized and overlapping NPCs. The arena has been asked to respect personal space.
Stability
Fixed an issue where prior crashes could leave the game unresponsive on launch. Crashing once was rude enough.
