Another small Family Office Simulator update is live.
A player caught sellers occasionally doing something that was, frankly, impressively bad negotiating. 😄
In certain late-round purchase negotiations, you could raise your offer and the seller could respond with a “final offer” that was actually lower than the amount you had already offered them.
That obviously doesn’t make much sense.
What changed:
If the seller’s modeled willingness to accept a deal reaches or falls below your current standing offer, the seller will now accept your existing offer instead of countering back at a lower price.
Normal seller concessions, rejections, walk-aways, final offers, financing, and closing economics are otherwise unchanged.
This was a narrow negotiation-logic correction rather than a rebalance of property prices or financing.
Thanks to Actinguy2 for posting the exact negotiation sequences that made this one nice and reproducible.
