Long time no see, we're here to bring you an important update.
Aside from your usual improvements and bug fixes, this important update brings with it a new playable character—Kogasa Tatara.
Kogasa was designed with magic burst damage in mind. Her corresponding emotion is Joy.
On the ground, her normal attacks aren't very effective, but she can be extremely powerful in the air, even more so with the many skills that can augment her abilities.
Furthermore, for the very first time, we've added chain combos into the game's combat. Kogasa's attacks will change depending on how you execute them, letting you perform combos reminiscent of fighting games. Feel free to check out how versatile Kogasa's combos are by looking at videos of her combat.
This was also done in preparation for the core gameplay of the next playable character whose fighting style will wholly revolve around combos—Hong Meiling (Happiness).
That said, Kogasa isn't geared towards new players. You'll be disappointed if you go in expecting the overwhelming brute strength of a character like Mokou. Mokou herself is a character specializing in heavy damage, so being powerful like that is normal, but Kogasa requires a bit more finesse to play, so I hope everyone will keep the distinction in mind.
