[Achievement Unlocked] Update 0.5: “Flames of Rebellion” are Here!

Survivors - it's time to burn it all down.

The battlefield just got a lot more dangerous (and a lot more fun).

Update 0.5 is one of our biggest yet: a mythic new Survivor, long-awaited feature, devastating new powers, divine structures, and more ways than ever to leave your enemies in ruins.

It’s a big one - so grab yourself a cup of tea, and let’s descend into the chaos together.

🏆 At Last: Steam Achievements are here!

You asked for it. We delivered.

Achievements are now fully integrated with Steam - and if you've already unlocked any, they'll automatically sync the next time you launch the game.

New ones are already waiting for you - can you catch them all?

🔥 1 New Character: Burn Them All

The noble son of Iapetus outwitted him and stole the far-seen gleam of unwearying fire
— Hesiod, Theogony

He stole fire from Olympus. Now he’s fighting for you.

Prometheus is a high-risk, high-reward Survivor with low health and rapid regeneration. He burns enemies with every hit using his unique Power: Fire Breath.

⚔️ 2 New Powers: Flame and Fury

Fire Breath
Exhale pure destruction. Prometheus’s signature move scorches the battlefield (and your enemies) with a cone of flame.

Souls of Tartarus
Summon the damned. Cursed spirits rise from the underworld, latching onto enemies and tearing them apart with dark energy.

🏛️ 3 New Structures: Wrath, Engineered

Monument of Thunder
A divine turret that channels Zeus himself. It strikes enemies near you, no matter where it’s built.

Dart Thrower
A circle of death. This construct fires high-speed darts in all directions, piercing through enemies like butter.

Spike Trap
Stop enemies dead in their tracks. Lay brutal spike traps - enemies who step on it get a face full of Olympus-grade steel.

💰 4 New Favours: Choose Your Divine Blessing

Need a stronger start? Four new Favours have been added to expand your options:

• Patience Pays Off - Start with higher Status Strength
• Plutus’ Generosity - Begin each run with extra gold
• Gaia’s Blessing - Gain bonus stone at the start
• Passionate Miner - Increases mining speed and yields more stone per cycle

🛠️ 5 Major Balance & Quality of Life Improvements

• Achievement progress is now displayed in-game, making it easy to track how much you are missing.
• The “How to Play” tab now shows you stats for all powers.
• Apollo’s Light (Pythia’s power) has been improved: orbs orbit closer to you for better control.
• Selected transformation icons are now more unique and better reflect their function.
• Structures now visibly react to damage.

🛠️ 6 Various Fixes

• Moirai Thread power got a buff (and a new transformation)
• Striking Speed got a much needed nerf (yes, you were overpowered - we saw you).
• Achievement grind reduced - The Power of Magic and I Just Want to Fight now unlock with fewer runs.
• Visual effects now display correctly on all eight-legged abominations.
• Your thrown shield will now reliably return to you. As it should.
• Minor performance improvements and optimizations.

🏆 7 New Achievements: Good luck hunting!

Seven new achievements have also been added with this update: A builder, Bones bones bones, Pyromaniac, Experienced Marksman, It’s a Trap, Unforgivable Curse, Architect.
