Bring your friends: squads, three floors and gear

Sightline Playtest · published · build 25719075

Squads
- Invite a Steam friend from the go tab. Up to four of you in one squad.
- Everyone presses Ready, the leader goes in, and the whole squad lands in the same raid.
- You now log in with Steam. Fresh start for everyone: bank, stash and blueprints begin at zero.

Go deeper
- The compound has three floors now. Stairs go both ways. Chutes only go down, so think before you jump.
- Each floor down is smaller and meaner, with better guns. Legendaries only drop on floor 3.
- The only way out is on floor 1. Notes you find down deep tell you where the exits are.
- The map changes every raid. No more memorizing routes.

Gear
- Three new slots: head, back and arms. Eight pieces to find, from the Oni Mask to the Iron Knuckles, each with its own trick.
- Your gear takes the hit instead of you. Every crack weakens its effect.
- Runners lunge and knock gear right off you. Press F to grab it and put it back on.
- Unlock gear and its tiers with blueprints. Extract and you keep it. Die and it stays on the floor.

Guns and ammo
- Three ammo types: light for the pistol, heavy for the rifle, shells for the shotgun. A box only fills its own type.
- The stun gun needs no ammo. It recharges by itself, even in your holster.
- A gun you pick up goes into the slot it fits. The prompt tells you what you drop first.

Look and feel
- Thin building walls. Bullets, movement and the fog stop exactly where the wall is drawn.
- New player art: arms that hold the gun, legs that actually walk.
- Smoother movement, and the camera leans ahead where you aim.
- The HUD moved to the corners. A new radar shows the exits your notes name, the path you walked, and the stairs and chutes you've seen.
- You can hear footsteps now, and which side they come from. Steps hidden by the fog show up as rings.

Fixes
- One press of F does one thing.
- The results screen shows what the server actually charged you.
- If the server can't save your raid result, it keeps trying. Your loot doesn't get lost.
