Fixed several desktop-mode issues that could cause the package grid, dock, or desktop icons to disappear when the Windows wallpaper changed or when Wallpaper Engine was activated. Improved recovery when the desktop host refreshes, prevented fallback cases that could leave a black background, and made app shutdown/relaunch behavior more reliable so the desktop and tray remain responsive.
