Performance
The world map now runs at 122 fps, up from 17. It was repainting all 181 countries every frame just to animate a handful of pulsing markers.
Several screens open dramatically faster: the national log went from 726ms to 196ms, world rankings and country selection are now 2–3× faster and use up to 11× fewer resources.
Advancing a month no longer rebuilds the dashboard header thirty times and throws twenty-nine away.
Laws and budgets that actually work
Over half the Code of Laws sliders were reverting after passing — fixed, along with a policing law that raised corruption instead of fighting it, and referred bills that passed their vote and changed nothing.
Five budget sliders that did nothing (including defense) now spend real money; embassies were being billed monthly and buying nothing.
Interest on the debt is now the first line of your budget, and the screen tells you what APPLY will really commit.
Your companies matter
Firms have real balance sheets, grow through five stages, and their profits, jobs and exports flow into your treasury and GDP — with monopoly, debt and too-big-to-fail risks.
Consistency and clarity
Money is formatted identically everywhere (GDP no longer renders four different ways), negative amounts no longer lose their minus sign.
Over 3,000 additional strings translated across all 13 languages.
