SYSADMIN Hell · public · first seen
One of our first refunds came with a note: you could hold the space bar, and that was it. We checked. Our test player could clear the whole queue without reading a single ticket, and finish on the same day as someone who read every one. That's not the game we meant to make, so 1.0.5 starts there.
The overall pace is the same: about two hours to the first ending on Sysadmin.
Options > Your Company. Type in your company, your boss and your coworkers. About a third of tickets will come from them, some of them will apply for IT jobs, and your boss turns up wherever the executives do. When the company rebrands at 400 employees, it uses your company's initials. Nothing leaves your PC. Screenshots are encouraged.
New Shift > Office League. Create a league, copy the invite into your team chat, and everyone with the code shares a leaderboard for today's Daily Shift. It resets every morning. And Copy result on the report card puts your score on the clipboard, ready to paste.
Press F9. The game pauses, goes silent and becomes Q3_Budget_FINAL_v7(2).xls, a very dull spreadsheet. Even the window title changes. Press F9 again when it's safe.
German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian, all 2,800 lines: every ticket, email, incident and Stapley's opinions. The game follows your Steam language, or pick one under Options > Language. The system font learned some new letters for it. The HellDOS Prompt stays in English (it's DOS).
These translations are brand new. If a joke landed badly in your language, post it in the discussions and we'll fix it.
Thanks to everyone who played, wrote a review, or refunded with a note attached. The notes are how we found this one.
Clock in. You're already behind.
