New: Casual (Beta)
Choose Casual (Beta) under Settings > Game > Game mode, then select Apply to save your choice.
- New incidents arrive with their address, situation and required units already known.
- Use “Send suitable units” to dispatch appropriate available vehicles, or select them yourself through “Choose vehicles”.
- Travel, operations, patient care, transport, incident completion and return trips run automatically. Call questioning, radio handling and station servicing are skipped.
- You still need to send any missing units. Incidents require suitable vehicles before they can be completed.
Simulation remains the default. The tutorial continues to use Simulation. In multiplayer, the host chooses the game mode. Casual is marked as Beta and will continue to be improved.
Emergency calls and continuing your shift
- Saving settings during the tutorial no longer carries its temporarily disabled automatic calls and autosave into later shifts. Campaign chapter settings also stay separate from your personal preferences.
- “Continue playing region” enables automatic emergency calls again after completing a campaign chapter and releases the region for free play. Older saves with a completed chapter resume this way too, preserving your stars and score.
- When automatic calls are deliberately disabled, the fast-forward button shows the reason and explains how to enable them under “Settings > Game”.
Cancel region downloads
“Cancel loading” is now available while loading a custom region. Your previous shift is preserved, and you can start another loading attempt.
Stability
The updated Unity version includes a fix for a known Windows crash when exiting the game.
