A quick hotfix based on your feedback.
Mines no longer go off "by themselves"
- Creatures could set off a floor's mines, and then an unrelated noise from a player would detonate them. The blast, and the floor's anger, got blamed on whoever happened to be talking.
- Now a creature can only trigger a floor mine while it's actively chasing a player it can see. Patrolling and investigating noises no longer arm mines.
- Mines you place yourself work exactly as before.
Fragile loot stops shattering on its own
- Flasks and other fragile finds could break just from being set down carefully in the lift or the van. Adding one more item to a pile sometimes broke everything around it.
- Items gently placed with E, and the ones next to them, are now protected properly.
The Listener has changed
- The Listener no longer locks people in crates. It carries you off to the room farthest from your crew, and then lets you go.
- If you're carrying a find, it steals the loot instead of you and carefully puts it down somewhere else.
- Don't push your luck: the first time, it throws you down and runs off. If it catches the same person a second time on the same floor, it won't let go.
Descent permits
- Descent permits can now be bought right at the shop terminal, instantly, with no order and no crate. When you're down to your last one, the permit card is shown first on the terminal and pulses.
- If you're down to your last permit and just a little short on cash, you get a one-time discount.
- The first time a permit burns, a one-time card reminds you that you can buy more in the lift or at the shop.
- In the shop, the lift terminal now shows the shift order in a single, cleaner panel.
Thanks for the reports, keep them coming!
