⚖️ Fixed a bug where mitigating evidence (e.g., restitution deposit receipts, abuse-history medical records) was submitted by the prosecution as if it proved guilt. Evidence is now submitted by whichever side its actual content favors.
🎥 Improved CCTV/photo evidence visuals: "assault" scenes now show an actual striking motion with an impact effect, and group assaults get a dedicated scene with multiple attackers. "Defendant"/"Victim" labels now appear directly on screen.
🗣️ Strengthened appeals: added on-the-spot rebuttals between prosecution and defense, a reminder to review the evidence before ruling, and a new "Re-check Evidence" button on the original-ruling confirmation screen.
🔒 Improved the detention warrant screen: the "Deny" button is now automatically disabled once any ground for detention is checked, and text/buttons throughout the screen are larger.
⚙️ Settings screen now highlights the currently selected option.
⏱️ Trials now run a bit longer: more varied prosecution/defense exchanges and evidence-objection grounds, and about 30% of the time the defendant delivers an extended, tearful final statement while reading from prepared notes.
👮 Bailiffs are now sized comparably to the defendant and drawn with a sturdier build.
😂 Added a new comedic case: "Case 66. The Student Who Kicked a Professor's Shin for Class to End."
🎵 Sentencing music no longer cuts out when moving to the "Grounds for the Ruling" screen.
🔨 Removed the gavel-icon pop-up on sentencing; the gavel now strikes three times in sound only.
📰 Enlarged the artwork and text on the sentencing result ("Court Daily") screen.
