This is our first major update, and it includes a lot of improvements and features - but most importantly the dungeons have been added! The dungeons are dangerous locations with puzzles and combat where you can test your skills and learn about the world and the NPCs. There are also some things that can ONLY be done in the dungeons - like resetting your skill points and other abilities beyond what you can do in normal gameplay.
The demo only has two dungeons right now, but we're going to add many more later, including boss rooms and rail switches to make the whole system one giant puzzle.
For the first dungeon, you can ask Adrian to join you. He'll defend you and explore with you, and he even brings a torch, which is helpful, as the dungeons start off very dark. I'm planning to add more of this style of adventuring with NPCs later.
Added dungeons - you need to reach 1 star friendship with Adrian to get the quest to find one
Pets now gain bonuses when your relationship with them increases. See the pet info window for more details.
At full relationship, you can rebirth pets to increase their strength/reset their age.
Added exp to individual skills, and adjusted skill star quests accordingly.
Can now choose what seed to plant for the tend farm job, and can also select none for no planting.
Added NPC logic/jobs, and they will now craft for item quests and the market.
Added some 1 star friendship events and quests
Added achievements
Added intro
Added option to show exp gained popups (disabled by default)
Goxen now temporarily use energy when running.
Smoothed framerate
In the daily summary, coins earned is now the amount of coins you earned, not the change in coins from the previous day (which included when you spent coins)
Strength now increases the chance and power of stunning enemies when hitting them (with melee weapons OR arrows)
Added GUI Padding option
Tapping shift toggles running on/off instead of holding shift.
It's been a while since our last update, but I feel like we got a lot done, and we're getting close to where I want to demo area to be. There's still a bunch of NPC-related stuff I want to add, and maybe a few more dungeons - and there's always quality of life updates, but that means soon I'll be able to move on to post-demo content, including the wetlands to the south, which is very exciting.
