PROMO WRESTLING WORLD 2.0 — THE BROADCAST STUDIO UPDATE

On Steam

PROMO WRESTLING WORLD 2.0 — THE BROADCAST STUDIO UPDATE

Version 2.0 is the biggest presentation and navigation update yet. The new Broadcast Studio presentation rebuilds the game around clearer desks, stronger visual hierarchy, faster navigation, and more useful information at a glance—while keeping the full depth of Promo Wrestling World underneath it.

The original Classic presentation remains fully supported and can still be selected at any time.

A COMPLETE BROADCAST STUDIO REDESIGN

  • Added the new Broadcast Studio presentation across the game, with a consistent dark navy and steel visual identity, broadcast-inspired typography, clearer spacing, and stronger page hierarchy.
  • Reworked navigation around a persistent left rail, global top bar, and Control Room so the most important destinations and next-show actions remain close at hand.
  • Added clearer focused workspaces, drawers, reports, and editor windows so large systems are easier to understand without removing their depth.
  • Improved layouts across standard desktop, ultrawide, Steam Deck-sized, and high UI-scale displays.
  • Improved keyboard focus, reduced-motion behavior, minimum text sizes, control sizing, contrast, and readable page gutters throughout the interface.
  • Added a permanent Classic/Broadcast presentation switch. Classic mode remains available for players who prefer the original layout.

DASHBOARD AND EVERYDAY NAVIGATION

  • Completely rebuilt the Broadcast Dashboard around your next show, promotion identity, leading talent, financial position, and the decisions that need attention this week.
  • Made show logos substantially larger and clearer on high-resolution displays.
  • Replaced the old Your Champions row with Your Top Stars. Current champions still receive a Champion label and their championship name, while the three-card layout can now spotlight the promotion's actual leading stars.
  • Added clean access to the Owner Profile directly from the Broadcast Dashboard, using a business/briefcase identity instead of the championship crown icon.
  • Removed duplicate owner-name presentation and added the complete Owner Profile options to Broadcast mode.
  • Improved KPI spacing so Cash and the other promotion totals no longer sit against the page edge.
  • Removed unnecessary hover tooltips from the main Dashboard KPI strip.
  • Improved championship artwork, portrait framing, and narrow-card title presentation.
  • Added safer high-scale top-bar behavior so secondary global figures yield before controls can extend outside the viewport.
  • The launcher now uses the Steam Workshop icon for Community Worlds.

BOOKING, CARD BUILDER, AND SEGMENT EDITOR

  • Rebuilt Broadcast Booking as a portrait-led production desk with a clearer show rundown, visual match cards, championship art, a wrestler library, and a contextual inspector.
  • Added a full-card workbench for reviewing, arranging, and editing an entire show without losing sight of the card structure.
  • Added editable show runtime to the Card Builder, matching the runtime control already available from Booking.
  • Improved drag, quick-edit, selection, lock, and deletion behavior across the rundown and inspector.
  • Reworked the Segment Editor with clearer tabs for Match & Story, Match Lab, and Production.
  • Fixed the incorrect technical WMT identifier appearing in segment summaries. Wrestler and match information now uses proper player-facing names.
  • Title matches now display the selected championship belt cleanly beneath the VS area.
  • Improved multi-person and team-match portrait layouts, participant roles, title-match context, story guidance, finish options, and production controls.
  • Improved field labels, compact layouts, readable duration guidance, and editor behavior at smaller window sizes.
  • Improved quick-angle and storyline guidance, including clearer ordered roles for beatdowns, saves, run-ins, and stable attacks.
  • Improved Genci's booking suggestions, recovery from incomplete responses, and the ability to keep the current plan visible while asking again.

SHOW RESULTS AND LIVE PRESENTATION

  • Completely redesigned Show Results for Broadcast mode with a cleaner event summary, show grade, attendance, television performance, revenue, profit, key moments, segment results, business details, and story consequences.
  • Show Results now returns you to the page you came from instead of always sending you to the Dashboard.
  • Added an obvious close option and removed the confusing Skip button.
  • Made the detailed Full Report much more prominent so players who want the complete breakdown can find it immediately.
  • Improved the best-segment, weakest-segment, suggested follow-up, business-result, wrestler-change, and storyline-change summaries.
  • Rebuilt Watch Live and the broadcast presentation surfaces with clearer show flow, commentary, sponsor integrations, production information, and match continuity.
  • Improved PPV planning, multi-night event navigation, production history, and post-event reporting.

ROSTER, BRANDS, AND TALENT MANAGEMENT

  • Rebuilt the Broadcast Roster as a working talent desk with clearer wrestler facts, comparisons, notes, favorites, portraits, booking availability, and action menus.
  • Improved portrait cropping and framing across the roster, profiles, news, tournaments, dashboards, and related-person views.
  • Renamed the Locker Room's misleading Wrestler Profile action to Talent Assessment, distinguishing it from the full wrestler profile used elsewhere.
  • Reworked Brands and Draft presentation, including centered brand artwork behind the roster rows so it no longer overlaps the M/F, card-position, alignment, and championship count chips.
  • Cleaned up the brand image remove/close control so the X sits correctly inside its control.
  • Improved brand rosters, wrestler movement, draft history, roster balancing, and championship assignment presentation.
  • Rebuilt Contracts, Free Agents, negotiations, staff hiring, staff contracts, staff profiles, departments, and office tools for Broadcast mode.
  • Improved negotiation clarity so displayed asks, contract terms, bonuses, cooldowns, and the final committed offer stay consistent.
  • Closing a negotiation is non-destructive; only the explicit Walk Away action ends talks and applies the appropriate availability state.
  • Improved stable and tag-team records, Freebird handling, managers, secondary roles, worker relationships, and profile return paths.

STORIES, TITLES, NEWS, AND COMPETITION

  • Rebuilt Storylines as a clearer writing desk with stronger story status, participant, beat-planning, continuation, pause, finale, and booking guidance.
  • Rebuilt Titles around belt-first championship cards, defenses, contenders, title histories, title changes, and championship-picture information.
  • Rebuilt World News and Press with a more readable editorial layout, stronger artwork, clearer story summaries, filters, archive tools, and direct navigation to the people and companies involved.
  • Added improved news portrait framing and corrected opened articles that could crop a wrestler's head differently from the preview.
  • Expanded Tournaments with clearer creation tools, entrant selection, invitations, sponsor decisions, live brackets, match formats, financial results, awards, completed-event records, and series archives.
  • Reworked Competition, Talent Wars, rival companies, world intelligence, television wars, and related reports into clearer Broadcast workspaces.

BUSINESS, DEVELOPMENT, AND PROMOTION BUILDING

  • Rebuilt Finances with clearer income, costs, weekly results, projections, credit, business reports, and direct navigation to the systems behind each figure.
  • Rebuilt Media Rights, Sponsors, Merchandising, Markets, Regions, Tours, Scouting, Development, Upgrades, and Empire screens for the Broadcast presentation.
  • Improved sponsor and broadcast integrations, media-deal clarity, promotion reach, commercial history, merchandise reporting, and finance-ledger visibility.
  • Improved scouting boards, prospect information, development projects, territory tools, and promotion-growth decisions.
  • Improved owner, staff, wrestler, company, and related-person profiles so their important facts and actions are easier to find.

CAREER, HISTORY, AND WORLD TOOLS

  • Rebuilt Dynasty, Record Book, Hall of Fame, Draft History, and career-history pages for the Broadcast presentation.
  • Improved career comparisons, historical records, Hall of Fame ballots and ceremonies, ownership history, and promotion legacy reporting.
  • Improved the new-game launcher, Welcome to 2.0 guidance, Community Worlds access, World Editor navigation, and startup presentation.
  • Added clearer save, cloud, and Steam status messaging, plus safer return paths between major screens and nested editors.

PERFORMANCE, RELIABILITY, AND SAVE SAFETY

  • Added lazy-loaded routes and retryable screen loading to reduce startup work and keep large sections from blocking the rest of the interface.
  • Improved caching and reduced repeated roster, title, promotion, and dashboard calculations during navigation and simulation.
  • Bounded long-running histories and activity records so extended careers do not grow save data without limit.
  • Moved persistent simulation outcomes and gameplay IDs away from wall-clock and uncontrolled randomness, improving repeatability and long-career stability.
  • Improved reference repair, startup safety, diagnostics, and handling for incomplete or older records.
  • Existing saves remain supported. Signed wrestler and staff wages, contract guarantees, payroll totals, authored data, and career history are preserved during the 2.0 update.

THANK YOU

Broadcast Studio is a major foundation update for Promo Wrestling World. It is designed to make the game easier to navigate and cleaner to read while preserving the deep simulation and management systems already in place. Classic mode remains available, and I will continue refining both the presentation and the simulation with your feedback.
